We love creative people and are honored to have so many of them share their talents with us.

Market Alley Wines has live music every Friday and Saturday evenings as well as the occasional weekday. Our musicians play everything from blues and rock, to folk and bluegrass.

MAW is also proud to partner with talented area artists as a venue to display their awesome work.

Currently, we are on a two-month rotation. If you are an artist or know an artist who would like to show his or her work at MAW, let us know!

Barb Hurley

Barb Hurley is an area artist who specializes in abstract acrylic paintings. In her latest work, she uses alcohol ink to make vibrant, colorful works.

No Reason

No Reason was formed by Dan Yasenko and Jon (Yone) Wellerdiek over 13 years ago. Yasenko, a former member of the legendary local band Corriander, and Jon, recently arrived from Holland and a violist with the Galesburg Symphony, established the duo's reputation for musicianship and intelligently arranged acoustic versions of alt/folk and rock music. Tamy Rankin joined the band in 2005, bring  bluegrass style mandolin and vocals to the mix. Dan, Jon and Tamy deliver amazing three part harmonies that are the results of years of practice together.

Sean Kistler

Sean Kistler is a solo acoustic guitar player/ vocalist performing a wide range of timeless classics to the current hits of today. Sean is also a member of a well-known band called Dry from Galesburg. His song choices are electric and he enchants the crowd with his minimalist syncopated guitar rhythms.
