TOP SHELF SELECTION:
Goldschmidt Hilary Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 - Napa Valley. Violet-black; rich and intense with black currant, raspberry, and blueberry aromas. Shows blackberry, boysenberry, and red raspberry flavors. Full-bodied and smooth mid-palate with baking spices in the finish. 91 pts., Wine & Spirits
WHITE WINE SELECTION:
Des Amis Rose - Napa Valley. Very dry with wild cherry and strawberry, melon, dried spice/herb and red rose smells and flavors.
The Crossing 2016 Sauvignon Blanc - New Zealand. Lifted notes of bell pepper and passion fruit, underpinned with citrus notes. The palate is full with pure fruit flavors, yet balanced with a persistent, crisp mineral finish. A MAW top-seller.
Butter Chardonnay - California. This wine is rich, bold, and luscious with notes of stone fruit, baked lemon, and vanilla.
RED WINE SELECTION:
Anciano 5 Year Reserva Tempranillo - Spain. Appealing ripe berry and cherry fruit flavors come through at first taste, followed by balanced tannins and a smooth, satisfying finish.
LaMadrid Bonarda - Argentina. In the mouth, it is unctuous, full of red-fruit jam which can also be perceived in the nose.
Antu Cabernet Sauvignon - Maipo Valley. A tight, tannic palate is firmly built, with spicy flavors of cherry and cassis as well as olive. A peppery, herbal, toasty finish sends this on its way. 91 pts., Wine Spectator.
